Head Wrapping
In this module you will start off with the basics, working with lace and really learning how to apply glue, remove it, and get the feel of it before actually applying it to someone's head for the first time. I will also teach you how to protect yourself and make sure your wig is built on a correct head form (this happens WAY more than it should, even with experienced wigmakers), + tips to look out for so you're not struggling all season with a wonky or moldy head.
Then I take you on a very thorough journey on how to wrap your actor or clients head to get you the flattest wig wrap possible. This step is crucial in making your wig form built correctly (from last module) and wig to fit properly and look REAL! You do not want to be dealing with a wig that is too large for someones head...especially if you're working with a men's wig!
This is where a lot of people go wrong.. they don't want to deal with the hassle of pinning their wig. Picture this... you trying to work your roots and syle with fine details or comb waves into your wig, while the wig is sliding all over the place... How does this work?? I'll answer this one, IT DOESN'T! I constantly see people trying to skip steps, or maybe they just haven't been taught, but they struggle so much and can't seem to figure out why the wig looks wiggy.. Learning this is very important!
Let's dive deep into styling! In these modules you'll learn how to work with different styling techniques while maintaining that naturalness in the wig. You will feel confident being able to pull off any style you dream up. And learn the tricks that take your wig to the next level.
